Key responsibilities
As a Key Account Manager – Modern Trade and Wholesale Channels, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the company’s presence across modern trade platforms. Your focus will be on fostering trust-based relationships with key retail partners while driving sales growth through strategic planning and execution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with supermarkets, hypermarkets, convenience stores, warehouse clubs, and professional consumer outlets to ensure mutual success
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Product teams to deliver annual business plans, channel promotions, and product launches
- Analyse market data to identify growth opportunities, monitor channel performance against targets, and propose actionable strategies for improvement
- Provide insights into market trends, competitor activities, and channel dynamics to inform strategic decision-making
- Negotiate listings and cooperation terms to expand coverage within the retail landscape while ensuring effective execution of promotional activities
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate is dependable, results-driven, and thrives in a collaborative environment. You bring proven expertise in managing high-value retail accounts within fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or related sectors. Your ability to analyse data and build trust-based relationships makes you an asset to any team.
- Minimum two years’ experience in brand-side sales, key account management, or channel management within the retail sector
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies that drive results
- A relationship-oriented mindset paired with excellent negotiation skills ensures long-term commercial success
- Proactive approach combined with self-motivation enables effective cross-functional collaboration
- Familiarity with modern trade operations—including wholesale channels—and proficiency in data analysis tools is highly desirable
