A leading Retail brand is seeking a Brand General Manager in Taipei to drive retail and omnichannel growth. You will turn brand strategy into sales results, owning revenue, pricing, promotions, assortment, and marketing execution. What you'll do:
- Take full ownership of delivering brand sales targets, driving revenue growth, and achieving margin objectives through effective commercial strategies.
- Analyse sales performance data, customer insights, and market trends to develop actionable plans that enhance overall business outcomes.
- Develop and execute comprehensive pricing, promotional, and trade strategies aimed at maximising sell-through across all channels.
- Translate overarching brand strategy into commercially effective marketing initiatives and retail executions that resonate with customers.
- Lead seasonal planning and campaign management efforts designed to increase store traffic, conversion rates, and average basket size.
- Ensure robust in-store and online brand representation by partnering closely with Retail Operations and E-commerce teams for seamless execution.
- Collaborate with Buying and Merchandising teams on product assortment decisions, range planning, and lifecycle management to optimise SKU performance.
- Support new product launches by setting clear sales targets and developing detailed execution plans that drive successful market entry.
- Manage underperforming products proactively by implementing targeted interventions based on performance analysis.
- Lead sales-focused marketing campaigns—including digital activations, CRM initiatives, in-store events, and promotions—while managing budgets for maximum ROI.
What you bring:
- Demonstrated ability to drive commercial outcomes through collaborative teamwork across diverse functions including Sales, Trade Marketing, Merchandising, Retail Operations and E-commerce.
- Proven track record of delivering sustained sales growth via strategic brand management initiatives within retail industry.
- Deep understanding of retail KPIs such as sell-through rates, gross margin optimisation, conversion metrics, stock turn efficiency, and campaign-driven sales uplift.
- Advanced analytical skills enabling you to interpret complex data sets for forecasting purposes as well as post-campaign reviews.
- Exceptional stakeholder management capabilities with a focus on building dependable relationships that facilitate aligned execution of business priorities.
- Experience designing and executing pricing strategies alongside promotional activities tailored for both physical stores and online channels.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams in planning seasonal campaigns that drive customer engagement while increasing average basket size.
- Expertise in product assortment planning including lifecycle management of SKUs to maximise profitability while addressing underperformance swiftly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related discipline coupled with 5–8 years’ experience in consumer brands or retail sectors.
- Commitment to continuous learning demonstrated by participation in training programmes aimed at enhancing industry knowledge.
