A leading global sports brand is seeking for a Head of Retail to deliver retail sales management across nationwide store operations in Taipei, Taiwan, driving growth, customer excellence, and full P&L ownership through sales strategy & forecasting and data-driven leadership.

Key responsibilities

As Head of Retail, you will lead and optimise multi-store operations across Taiwan, driving customer excellence, team development, and strong commercial performance through strategic planning, performance analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Nationwide Retail & Sales Leadership: Lead nationwide retail operations, driving sales performance, team development, and customer experience
  • Business & Sales Strategy Execution: Deliver revenue, profitability, and growth through effective retail and sales strategy execution
  • Store Operations & Performance Management: Ensure consistent store standards and improve results using performance insights (sales, traffic, conversion, inventory)
  • Organisation & Leadership Development: Build high-performing teams through coaching, leadership development, and performance management
  • Cross-functional Alignment: Collaborate cross-functionally to align business strategy with retail execution

Candidate profile

The ideal Head of Retail is an experienced, collaborative leader with strong commercial judgement, full P&L oversight, bilingual communication skills, and the ability to translate strategy into action through insight-led decision making.

  • Over 10 years’ experience leading large-scale retail or front line sales organisations with proven results
  • Proven track record in managing nationwide store networks and multi-layer teams through collaboration
  • Strong commercial acumen with full P&L ownership and analytics-informed decision making
  • Fluent in Mandarin and proficient in English for effective cross-border communication
  • Execution-focused leader demonstrated success in developing high-performing teams through coaching and inclusive practices
