Our client is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Sales Director to join their team in Taipei City. This role is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong track record in identifying and securing new business opportunities, particularly in high-growth industries.

What you'll do:

As a Sales Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving our client's growth. Your primary responsibility will be leading the Taiwan sales team, ensuring they not only meet but exceed their annual sales targets. You will also be tasked with formulating effective sales strategies that cater to both public and private sector markets. Your keen eye for identifying new business opportunities will be crucial in this role, as will your ability to foster long-term partnerships with key stakeholders. Additionally, you will monitor industry trends to ensure your strategies remain relevant in a competitive market.

  • Lead and develop the Taiwan sales team to achieve and exceed annual sales targets.
  • Formulate and execute localized sales strategies across public and private sector markets.
  • Identify new opportunities with private enterprises and government tenders.
  • Support the team in closing strategic deals and deepening customer relationships.
  • Foster and maintain long-term partnerships with key decision-makers and market influencers.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive activities to adjust strategies and ensure market relevance.
  • Deliver market and competitor insights to global teams to support product and marketing planning.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Sales Director position brings extensive experience in sales within information security or related industries. With over 15 years of experience under your belt, you have honed your skills in managing sales teams and have a proven track record of securing government tenders. Your ability to independently drive the complete sales process from strategic planning to contract closure sets you apart from others. Your excellent communication skills enable you to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels. You have a deep understanding of the Taiwan market and possess strong business acumen. Your proven ability to design and deliver customer-centric solutions will be invaluable in this role.

  • Over 15 years of sales experience in information security, image recognition, or related industries.
  • At least 8 years of experience managing sales teams, preferably with experience in the Taiwan market.
  • Proven success in securing government tenders and developing business with private enterprises.
  • Ability to independently drive the complete sales process, from strategic planning to contract closure.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • In-depth understanding of the Taiwan market, with strong business acumen.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver customer-centric, practical, and scalable solutions.
  • Fluency in both Mandarin and English.
