A global organization is seeking a Commercial Excellence Lead to enhance retail performance across the region. You’ll work with teams at all levels to improve in-store availability, strengthen brand presence, and drive sales growth. This role offers a dynamic environment with opportunities for professional development and cross-market exposure.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and oversee comprehensive programmes aimed at improving product availability and enhancing the visibility of brands across key retail channels within the region.
  • Design and implement robust commercial strategies that maximise revenue opportunities through best-in-class execution and targeted capability building initiatives.
  • Utilise advanced analytics tools to monitor execution key performance indicators (KPIs), identify areas for growth, and deliver detailed reports and presentations that inform strategic decisions at the leadership level.
  • Work collaboratively with trade, key account, field sales teams as well as marketing, product management, and analytics functions to ensure alignment on execution priorities and facilitate the sharing of best practices across markets.
  • Identify skill gaps within sales teams by conducting thorough needs assessments and deploy tailored training programmes along with resources that support ongoing capability development.
  • Support the creation and implementation of incentive programmes designed to motivate desired sales behaviours and drive measurable results across all relevant teams.
  • Adapt global frameworks, tools, and scorecards to suit regional market requirements while maintaining consistency with overarching global standards for governance.
  • Continuously monitor the effectiveness of channel execution initiatives by gathering feedback from stakeholders, evaluating outcomes, and refining strategies based on data-driven insights.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement by proactively seeking out opportunities to enhance commercial processes, tools, and methodologies throughout the region.


What you bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in sales execution, trade marketing, sales analytics or category management within consumer-focused industries is essential for success in this role.
  • Advanced analytical skills are required, including the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable business strategies that drive measurable results.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are vital for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders across global, regional, and local teams.
  • A self-motivated approach combined with outstanding problem-solving abilities ensures you can navigate challenges while maintaining focus on shared goals.
  • Experience designing or delivering training programmes aimed at building sales capabilities would be beneficial for this position.
  • The ability to adapt global frameworks for local application while upholding consistency with international standards demonstrates flexibility and attention to detail.
