A leading global freight forwarding organisation is seeking an Account Sales Specialist to join their Account Management Team in Taipei’s vibrant Neihu Technology Park.

What you'll do:

As an Account Sales Specialist based in Taipei’s Neihu district, you will be entrusted with nurturing key client relationships while acting as the main conduit between customers, shippers, and international partners. Your day-to-day responsibilities will revolve around facilitating smooth order processing, identifying new business prospects from current operations, maintaining meticulous records, and supporting your team’s shared goals. Success in this role comes from your ability to communicate effectively across cultures, anticipate client needs with warmth and consideration, and collaborate closely with colleagues to deliver outstanding results. You will also play a vital part in enhancing operational efficiency by offering constructive feedback during team discussions.

  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned global and cooperative accounts, managing all aspects of client communication with sensitivity and professionalism.
  • Coordinate order routing by liaising with shippers, overseas branches, and agents to ensure timely delivery and accurate information flow.
  • Identify new sales leads or prospective prepaid customers by analysing existing order routing business and nurturing potential opportunities.
  • Maintain detailed records of account activities, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accessible for team collaboration.
  • Facilitate smooth cooperation between internal departments to resolve any issues related to shipments or account management.
  • Provide regular updates to clients regarding order status, proactively addressing concerns with empathy and understanding.
  • Support the team in achieving sales targets by sharing insights on market trends and customer needs.
  • Utilise MS Office tools to prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence that reflect a high standard of accuracy and clarity.
  • Participate in departmental meetings to share feedback, contribute ideas for process improvement, and foster a communal spirit among colleagues.
  • Assist in onboarding new clients by guiding them through procedures with patience and clear communication.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Account Sales Specialist position brings proven experience in sales or account management—preferably within logistics or freight forwarding—and demonstrates a genuine commitment to collaborative success. Your interpersonal skills enable you to build trust with clients from various backgrounds while your technical proficiency ensures smooth handling of daily tasks. You are known for your reliability when coordinating complex orders across teams; your empathetic nature helps you address client concerns promptly. A background in business development or channel expansion further strengthens your candidacy. Above all else, your enthusiasm for learning new skills through ongoing training makes you an invaluable member of the Account Management Team.

  • Bachelor’s degree or above from an accredited institution is required for this position.
  • At least one year of experience in sales or account management roles; prior exposure within the freight forwarding industry is highly valued but not mandatory.
  • Intermediate proficiency in English (listening, speaking, reading, writing) enables you to interact confidently with international clients and partners.
  • Familiarity with PC skills including MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook ensures you can manage tasks efficiently.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and coordinate effectively with diverse stakeholders both locally and abroad.
  • Proactive approach combined with patience allows you to resolve challenges thoughtfully while maintaining positive relationships.
  • Self-reliant work style balanced by a willingness to share knowledge and support team members whenever needed.
  • Strong organisational skills help you keep track of multiple accounts without compromising attention to detail.
  • Experience in business development or channel expansion is considered an asset for those looking to grow within the company.
  • Commitment to continuous learning through participation in training programmes enhances your long-term career prospects.
