A world-leading automation company from Europe is looking for a general manager to lead the teams and deliver business goals in Taiwan.
- Maintain, build and lead a high-energy, high performance team, empowering the team, setting clear goals and objectives and driving accountability.
- Establish close relationships at senior levels with existing and potential customers; be able to gain direct access to the customers’ senior executive team; be perceived as a business partner by the executives, not just a sales person.
- Ensure that the culture places a high value on people and their contribution to the overall success of the business coupled with the commitment to results necessary to maintain the company’s market position.
- Continue to build the business in Taiwan, improving margin and sales.
- Have a successful, above eight year track record as a Strategic Sales Leader within a complex, global industrial company and be comfortable functioning within a matrix organization structure.
- Extensive experience selling solutions in one of the following industries: Metal, Plastics, Display, Semi, Solar. Ideally have experience in Automation, Robotics or a related industry.
- Have proven skills in mentoring a team and emphasizing people development throughout an organization.
- Excellent English language skills.
