Assistant Manager, F&B

You will be at the heart of decision-making, collaborating with multiple teams to deliver innovative marketing promotions and optimise omni-channel processes.
What you'll do:
- Coordinate with external research agencies to manage brand health tracking studies from initial preparation through to post-result sharing, ensuring all research projects are delivered on time and meet business needs.
- Generate deep consumer insights and market intelligence by analysing sales data from various perspectives such as product, scheme, and channel views, supporting strategic decision-making across the business.
- Lead the development of value initiatives and marketing promotion activities by leveraging both commercial and consumer insights, meticulously tracking outcomes to assess their impact on business performance.
- Drive the creation of media communication materials and develop comprehensive marketing calendars that align with overall brand objectives and campaign timelines.
- Take ownership of menu and pricing strategy development by synthesising commercial data with consumer feedback to maximise profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Supply Chain, R&D, Finance, and EC/CRM teams to ensure seamless coordination and timely delivery of cross-functional projects.
- Optimise omni-channel processes by identifying areas for improvement in workflow efficiency and implementing best practices across digital and physical channels.
- Support project management efforts by handling multiple concurrent initiatives with attention to detail, ensuring all deliverables are completed accurately and punctually.
- Communicate objectives clearly across functions to foster understanding, alignment, and effective teamwork throughout the organisation.
What you bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Management is required; candidates holding an MBA qualification will be viewed favourably as it demonstrates advanced business acumen.
- You have accumulated three to five years of experience in marketing or trade marketing roles within the FMCG, F&B, or QSR industries.
- Experience working one to two years in a research agency or an in-house insight team is highly desirable as it provides valuable perspective on consumer behaviour analytics.
- Your proficiency in data analysis enables you to interpret complex numerical information effectively and draw logical implications that drive business effectiveness.
- You possess strong commercial sense with well-developed planning skills that allow you to balance short-term promotional tactics with long-term strategic objectives.
- Excellent communication abilities enable you to articulate objectives clearly across different functions while fostering co-operation among colleagues from varied backgrounds.
- Demonstrated project management expertise allows you to handle multiple assignments simultaneously without compromising quality or deadlines.
- You are agile in adapting to the fast tempo typical of retail environments and show willingness to embrace change as part of your professional journey.
- Fluency in English—both written and spoken—is essential for preparing reports, delivering presentations, and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
