Data & Strategy BU Director, MNC

A global organisation is hiring a Data & Strategy BU Director in Taipei to lead local adoption of a global data platform, support key client conversations, and drive marketing and digital transformation through data-driven solutions.

What you'll do:

• Represent the global data solution platform within the local market by serving as the primary subject matter expert and trusted advisor to both internal stakeholders and external client teams.
• Collaborate closely with business development and client servicing teams to identify new opportunities where the platform can address specific client challenges and deliver tangible results.
• Participate actively in strategic client discussions and solution presentations, offering guidance on how the platform’s features align with each client’s unique objectives.
• Lead or support onboarding processes, training sessions, and ongoing enablement activities for client users to ensure smooth adoption and continuous usage of the platform.
• Translate complex technical capabilities into clear, actionable benefits tailored specifically to the local business context for maximum impact.
• Maintain robust feedback loops with global product and operations teams by sharing local insights that contribute to future product enhancements.
• Develop comprehensive internal reference materials, success stories, and support resources designed to scale platform understanding across all local teams.
• Monitor competitive landscape trends and emerging technologies to inform local positioning strategies and value messaging for clients.
• Ensure strict alignment with global implementation standards while also supporting necessary localisation efforts to meet market needs.

What you bring:

• Over 10+ years of experience in client-facing roles involving enterprise solutions, data platforms or analytics tools within a commercial setting.
• Demonstrated business acumen with a deep understanding of how data drives decision-making in marketing, customer experience or performance improvement contexts.
• Proven track record presenting solutions and delivering consultations at both strategic and operational levels to diverse audiences.
• Exceptional communication skills paired with storytelling abilities that bridge technical functionality with clear business value for clients.
• Familiarity with dashboards, reporting tools, and data visualisation platforms such as Power BI, Looker or Tableau is highly desirable.
• Experience working collaboratively across regional or global teams while adapting products to suit local market needs effectively.
• Fluency in both Mandarin and English is required for successful stakeholder engagement across functions.
• Solution-oriented mindset focused on customer success through empathetic problem-solving approaches.
