Global Marketing Director
A leading organisation seeks a Global Marketing Director to drive global brand strategy, execute integrated campaigns, and expand market presence across regions.
Key responsibilities:
As Global Marketing Director, you will lead global marketing strategy, drive brand growth, and mentor teams to deliver impactful, data-driven campaigns worldwide.
- Global Marketing Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement worldwide marketing strategies, define brand positioning and messaging, and oversee annual planning, budgeting, and performance tracking
- Brand & Campaign Management: Drive brand equity, lead integrated campaigns across digital, retail, media, and PR, ensuring consistency across regions and touchpoints
- Product Marketing & Launches: Partner with product and R&D teams on positioning, pricing, go-to-market strategies, and execute global product launches with clear messaging and rollout plans
- Consumer Insights & Digital Performance: Leverage market research, consumer insights, and analytics to optimise marketing decisions, digital campaigns, CRM, social media, and ROI
- Cross-Functional Leadership & Team Development: Collaborate with regional teams, sales, finance, and agencies; lead and mentor a global marketing team; foster a consumer-centric, data-driven culture
Candidate profile:
To excel in this role, you bring senior-level marketing expertise with global consumer brands, strong team leadership, cross-cultural collaboration, and the ability to turn consumer insights into impactful business strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred
- 10–15+ years in consumer brands (FMCG, retail, electronics, lifestyle) with proven global brand management expertise
- Track record leading integrated marketing campaigns and leveraging digital marketing, consumer insights, and data-driven strategies
- Experience managing multi-market or global marketing teams, fostering high-performing cultures
- Strong strategic thinking, communication, and leadership skills
