Assistant Brand Manager, Nutrition
The Associate Brand Manager for Consumer Nutrition will support the growth of key supplement and wellness brands across pharmacy, retail, and digital channels. This role manages brand planning, trade marketing initiatives, consumer communication, and new product launches.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand & Product Management
- Support the development and execution of annual brand strategies for consumer nutrition products (e.g., vitamins, supplements, functional drinks).
- Manage product positioning, packaging updates, promotional planning, and marketing material development.
- Conduct regular market analysis, competitor reviews, and consumer insight studies to identify growth opportunities.
2. Trade Marketing (Pharmacy / Retail / E‑commerce)
- Plan and execute trade activities for pharmacy channels such as Cosmed, Watsons, and independent pharmacies.
- Develop trade proposals, promotional bundles, and in‑store POSM (e.g., shelf talkers, wobblers, display materials).
- Work closely with the sales team to support channel activation and track sell‑in/sell‑out performance.
- Analyze channel data and adjust promotional plans to drive sales results.
3. Consumer Marketing
- Develop consumer-facing communication materials (KV, posters, leaflets, product pages, digital content).
- Partner with agencies to execute digital marketing initiatives, including social media, KOL collaborations, and online paid media.
- Manage brand content on websites and e‑commerce platforms to ensure accuracy and consistency.
4. Project & Campaign Management
- Assist in new product launches, including market research, go‑to‑market planning, training materials, and launch assets.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (Sales, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Creative, Agencies) to ensure alignment and timely execution.
- Manage brand budgets and evaluate campaign ROI.
Requirements
1. Education & Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Nutrition, Food Science, or related fields.
- 2–4 years of experience in brand marketing, FMCG, OTC, or pharmacy channel-related roles preferred.
- Experience in nutrition, supplements, or health products is a strong plus.
2. Professional Skills
- Understanding of pharmacy channel operations and trade promotion mechanics.
- Solid brand management skills, including consumer insight analysis, planning, and execution.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication abilities.
- Competent in data analysis, presentation creation, and project management.
3. Personal Attributes
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills.
- Good communication and storytelling skills in both written and verbal formats.
