An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Brand Manager to join a leading organisation in Taipei, focusing on the health supplements category. This role offers you the chance to make a meaningful impact by supporting brand growth and market presence through strategic marketing initiatives.

What you'll do:

  • Assist in developing comprehensive brand strategies aimed at enhancing market visibility and driving sustainable growth within the health supplement category.
  • Support the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital platforms, retail channels, and live events to maximise consumer engagement.
  • Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams such as sales, research and development, and supply chain management to ensure seamless product launches and timely delivery of marketing initiatives.
  • Conduct thorough market research by analysing consumer insights, monitoring competitive activity, and staying abreast of industry trends to inform strategic brand decisions.
  • Manage the localisation of marketing content in both English and Japanese, ensuring consistency of messaging across different markets while respecting cultural nuances.
  • Monitor key brand performance metrics regularly, preparing detailed reports that include actionable recommendations for future improvements.
  • Assist with budget management tasks by tracking expenditures and ensuring efficient allocation of resources for various marketing activities.
  • Contribute to the development of creative content for digital marketing efforts, collaborating with internal stakeholders to produce engaging materials.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of health supplement regulations and consumer preferences to ensure compliance and relevance in all brand communications.

What you bring:

  • Professional business communication skills in both English and Japanese are required for effective collaboration with international teams and external partners.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field provides a strong foundation for understanding brand management principles.
  • At least two years of experience in brand management, marketing, or similar roles equips you with practical knowledge relevant to this position; prior exposure to health supplements or fast-moving consumer goods is preferred.
  • Strong analytical abilities combined with proficiency in MS Office enable you to interpret data accurately and present findings clearly; familiarity with marketing analytics tools is considered advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills facilitate productive teamwork within a multicultural environment where cooperation is key.
  • Proven project management capabilities allow you to coordinate complex campaigns efficiently while meeting deadlines.
  • Experience working in multinational or Japanese companies enhances your understanding of global business practices and cultural sensitivities.
