Marketing Director

What you'll do:
- Develop and implement a robust marketing strategy that aligns with the broader business vision, ensuring all initiatives are insight-led and focused on measurable outcomes.
- Work collaboratively as part of the country leadership team to contribute to overall business planning and decision-making processes.
- Oversee the creation and execution of brand strategies, including positioning, messaging, and campaign planning to ensure consistent brand representation across all channels.
- Conduct thorough market analysis by leveraging customer insights and competitor intelligence to inform strategic decisions and optimise marketing effectiveness.
- Drive performance across the entire product and service portfolio by managing lifecycle activities from launch through to retention.
- Lead the digital marketing agenda encompassing CRM management, social media engagement, content creation, paid media campaigns, and website optimisation for maximum impact.
- Supervise digital campaign planning, monitor performance metrics rigorously, and adjust tactics to enhance return on investment.
- Design channel marketing programmes that support partner relationships and retail performance while ensuring alignment with commercial objectives.
- Collaborate with commercial and account teams to develop promotional strategies and execute impactful in-market activations.
- Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing marketing team by fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
What you bring:
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related discipline is essential; an MBA would be highly regarded for its added strategic perspective.
- At least 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing roles with a minimum of 3+ years spent in senior leadership positions where you have demonstrated your ability to guide teams through complex challenges.
- A strong history of successfully leading both brand-building initiatives and digital marketing campaigns within consumer-focused or multi-channel organisations.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating across functions such as sales, finance, supply chain or customer experience within matrixed or regional/global structures.
- Exceptional analytical skills paired with a data-driven mindset that enables you to translate insights into actionable strategies for business growth.
- Outstanding communication abilities coupled with stakeholder management expertise that allows you to build consensus among diverse groups.
- Experience working within both B2B2C and B2C models is highly desirable as it brings versatility when navigating different go-to-market approaches.
- A proven track record of commercial acumen evidenced by delivering sustained business growth through innovative marketing solutions.
- Familiarity with managing large portfolios as well as orchestrating complex go-to-market strategies across multiple channels or markets.
- Comfort operating in environments characterised by rapid change or ambiguity—particularly those experiencing high growth or industry evolution.
