Senior Brand Manager - Personal Care

We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Senior Brand Manager with a proven track record in managing product portfolios and trade marketing strategies. As the Senior Brand Manager, you will oversee the development, marketing, and sales strategies of an established product portfolio, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align initiatives with business objectives and consumer insights. This position will directly manage 2-4 team member.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Product Planning

    • Develop and execute comprehensive product strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals and consumer trends.
    • Lead 360-degree product lifecycle management, including conceptualization, development, and market launch.
  2. Market Research & Analysis

    • Conduct in-depth market research to identify consumer preferences, industry trends, and competitor insights.
    • Leverage data to identify growth opportunities and optimize market share.
  3. Brand Development

    • Define and implement brand positioning, messaging, and campaigns to strengthen brand equity and drive customer engagement.
    • Collaborate with internal creative and digital teams to produce innovative marketing concepts and communication materials.
  4. Trade Marketing & Sales Support

    • Partner with sales teams to create trade marketing strategies that increase revenue and support effective execution across retail and digital channels.
    • Provide tools and materials to empower the sales team in meeting targets.
  5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, creative, digital, and supply chain teams, to ensure smooth project execution.
    • Maintain strong relationships with external vendors, agencies, and partners for ATL/BTL execution.
  6. Performance Monitoring

    • Track and analyze product performance, marketing ROI, and sales metrics to inform decision-making and enhance outcomes.
    • Generate reports to share learnings and best practices across regional and global teams.
  7. Customer & Market Engagement

    • Actively engage with customers through focus groups, surveys, and social media to gather feedback and build brand loyalty.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in product portfolio management, trade marketing, and driving business results in FMCG, personal care, or retail industries.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and sales metrics.
  • Solid expertise in product planning, communication strategies, and ROI analysis.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of digital communication and best practices for gaining market share.
  • Growth mindset with a passion for challenges and innovation.
