EHS Manager
An established global consumer goods organisation is seeking an experienced EHS Manager in Taipei, Taiwan to strengthen its commitment to workplace safety, health, and environmental excellence.
Key responsibilities
As an EHS Manager, you will ensure regulatory compliance while driving continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental standards. The role focuses on implementing effective systems, delivering targeted training, and collaborating across teams to strengthen a culture of safety and sustainability.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive risk assessment frameworks to proactively identify and mitigate hazards across all operations
- Ensure compliance with local regulations by conducting self-assessments and implementing necessary updates to policies and procedures
- Lead ISO 14001/45001 certification processes while addressing deficiencies to drive continuous improvement
- Design tailored SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) training programmes to enhance employee awareness at all levels, enhance SBO (Safety Behavior Observation) and DCA (Area Inspection) programs to ensure on-site risks are clearly identified and behavioural deviations are promptly corrected
- Oversee digital transformation initiatives such as electronic work permit systems (ePTW) to improve data accuracy and reporting efficiency
Candidate profile
You are a reliable EHS leader with strong experience in industrial or manufacturing environments. Combining solid technical expertise with effective stakeholder management, you take a proactive, solutions-focused approach and are committed to building a safe, inclusive workplace.
- Minimum five years of experience in environmental health and safety management within industrial or manufacturing environments
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, industrial management, public health, or related fields
- Proficiency in English (intermediate level) for effective communication within an international team setting
- Strong knowledge of ISO 45001 standards and hands-on experience with certification processes
- Familiarity with Taiwan’s labour safety regulations including air pollution control permits and waste management licences
