This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide mechanical engineering analysis expertise to project teams, working on robust, cost-effective equipment and automation systems. You will interface with external machine builders, systems integrators, and suppliers, ensuring the successful delivery of fully integrated equipment systems. What you'll do:

As a Maintenance Leader, you will play a crucial role in providing mechanical engineering analysis expertise to project teams. You will work closely with these teams to deliver robust, cost-effective equipment and automation systems. Your responsibilities will also include interfacing with external machine builders, systems integrators, and suppliers to ensure the successful delivery of fully integrated equipment systems. You will actively participate in system integration, check-out, installation, debug, production start-up, and training of plant personnel. Your leadership skills will be essential as you supervise the team to identify opportunities for process and equipment improvements.

  • Work with project teams to deliver robust, cost-effective equipment and automation systems
  • Develop basic understanding of process requirements
  • Successfully deliver fully integrated equipment systems to internal customers on-time and on-budget
  • Actively participate in system integration, check-out, installation, debug, production start-up, and training of plant personnel
  • Supervise the team to identify opportunities for process and equipment improvements
  • Ensure satisfaction of process performance measures

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Maintenance Leader position brings a wealth of experience in maintenance engineering roles. With a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field under your belt, you have spent at least 3 years honing your skills in this area. Your experience extends to manufacturing or production environments where you've demonstrated strong project management skills. You are known for your excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical capabilities - particularly when it comes to statistical analysis. Your communication skills are second-to-none; you're comfortable interacting with various stakeholders and influencing decisions. A high level of initiative is required for this role as you'll often be working with minimal direction. Lastly, being bilingual in English (at a conversational level) and Mandarin will be a significant advantage in this role.

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in maintenance engineering roles
  • Experience in manufacturing or production
  • Strong project management skills
  • Good problem-solving and analytical capabilities (particularly statistical analysis)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
  • High initiative and ability to work with minimal direction
  • Bilingual English (conversational level) / Mandarin
