We are looking for a dynamic Factory Head / Senior Operations Director to drive operational excellence, automation, and sustainability in a world-class manufacturing environment. Ideal for leaders from high-tech, chemicals, or FMCG industries with a passion for Lean, Six Sigma, and Smart Factory transformation!

Operational & Strategic Leadership

  • Provide strategic direction and hands-on leadership to ensure best-in-class manufacturing standards.
  • Develop and execute long-term capacity planning, ensuring alignment with business goals and market demands.
  • Implement and sustain Lean, Six Sigma, and World-Class Manufacturing (WCM) principles.
  • Ensure optimal asset utilization, process efficiency, and cost control, delivering high-quality output at competitive costs.

Safety, Quality, and Compliance

  • Establish a zero-incident safety culture, ensuring strict adherence to EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) regulations.
  • Drive continuous improvement in product quality, ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.

People Leadership & Talent Development

  • Lead and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Implement workforce planning and succession strategies to ensure leadership pipeline sustainability.
  • Create and maintain a performance-based culture, enhancing employee engagement, capability, and retention.
  • Ensure effective cross-functional collaboration across production, supply chain, engineering, R&D, and commercial teams.

Financial & Business Performance

  • Develop and manage operating and capital budgets, ensuring cost control and transformation initiatives.
  • Identify and execute cost-reduction opportunities without compromising quality and safety.
  • Drive continuous improvement and automation projects to enhance productivity and operational resilience.
  • Support new product development and scale-up initiatives, ensuring seamless integration into manufacturing processes.

External & Internal Stakeholder Management

  • Represent the company with government agencies, suppliers, and external partners, ensuring compliance and business continuity.
  • Benchmark with global/regional teams to share and implement best practices for operational improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, R&D, and supply chain to enhance customer experience and service levels.

What Makes You a Strong Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership, with a track record of managing large-scale operations.
  • Experience in FMCG, high-tech, semiconductor, chemicals, life sciences, or advanced manufacturing industries.
  • Strong expertise in continuous and discrete manufacturing, covering high-mix/low-volume and high-volume/low-mix production.
  • Proven success in implementing Lean / Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Excellent understanding of automation, process control systems, and digital manufacturing transformation.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience managing large P&L, CAPEX, and OPEX budgets.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across global teams, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
