What you'll do:
- Oversee the end-to-end implementation and maintenance of the Magento e-commerce platform by coordinating project management activities, progress tracking, and cross-team collaboration with developers, designers, and marketing specialists.
- Integrate user interface enhancements, payment gateways, inventory systems, and logistics features into the e-commerce platform while managing frontend/backend configurations and acceptance testing.
- Provide ongoing system support post-launch by resolving technical issues promptly and recommending functional improvements based on user feedback.
- Support SAP ERP system implementation by assisting in project planning, requirement gathering, business process review, data migration, system testing, and user training sessions.
- Coordinate with SAP consultants and internal departments such as Finance, Procurement, Inventory, and Retail to ensure alignment of business needs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate cross-system integration between SAP and Magento platforms by managing API connections, middleware design, monitoring data flows, and ensuring accurate synchronisation of product information.
- Deliver essential reporting data to inform business decision-making processes while maintaining robust data management practices across all systems.
- Provide comprehensive IT support for daily infrastructure maintenance including POS systems, cash registers, barcode scanners in retail stores as well as network connectivity troubleshooting between stores and headquarters.
- Assist with IT setup for new store openings by deploying necessary hardware/software solutions and ensuring smooth onboarding for retail staff.
- Collaborate with headquarters IT teams to implement company-wide policies while supporting other internal IT projects as required.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Information Technology, Engineering or Business-related fields is required to ensure foundational knowledge for this multifaceted role.
- At least five years of hands-on experience in an in-house IT position within the retail industry demonstrates your dependability in supporting complex environments.
- A minimum of three years’ tenure at one company highlights your loyalty and commitment to long-term organisational success.
- Proven involvement in ERP or e-commerce system projects showcases your practical understanding of large-scale technology implementations.
