【Textile】Manager - PLM & MES (onsite Vietnam)

What you'll do:


* Oversee the complete lifecycle of PLM and MES system implementation projects, ensuring all phases from initiation through delivery are executed efficiently and effectively.
* Collaborate extensively with IT, engineering, operations, and quality teams to define project objectives, develop detailed plans, and ensure alignment with organisational goals.
* Allocate resources judiciously, delegate tasks thoughtfully among team members, and monitor progress to guarantee timely achievement of project milestones.
* Simultaneously manage multiple complex projects by coordinating priorities and maintaining seamless communication between stakeholders.
* Gather comprehensive business requirements from various departments, validate solution options against constraints such as budget and resources, and facilitate consensus among stakeholders for optimal outcomes.
* Lead the design and development process for PLM/MES infrastructure by conducting research, selecting appropriate technologies, designing solutions, and overseeing rigorous testing protocols.
* Direct all aspects of system commissioning including user acceptance testing, training sessions for end-users, data migration activities, and go-live procedures to ensure smooth transitions.
* Champion continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas within PLM/MES systems that can be optimised for greater efficiency or compliance.
* Conduct regular audits of implemented solutions to verify adherence to best practices as well as regulatory standards relevant to the textile manufacturing sector.


What you bring:


* Bachelor’s degree in Information Engineering or equivalent practical experience demonstrating strong technical acumen relevant to PLM/MES environments.
* At least 7-10 years’ proven experience managing complex projects focused on implementing Product Lifecycle Management and Manufacturing Execution Systems within manufacturing settings.
* Comprehensive understanding of fabric manufacturing processes coupled with hands-on exposure to PLM/MES/ERP systems; familiarity with SAP is considered advantageous.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across IT, engineering, operations, and quality assurance functions to achieve shared objectives.
* Excellent command of spoken and written English as well as Chinese (including Mandarin); proficiency in Vietnamese would be beneficial for effective communication within local teams.
* Willingness and ability to travel internationally on a frequent basis as required by project demands.
* Strong interpersonal skills enabling you to build trust-based relationships with colleagues at all levels while facilitating consensus-driven decision making.
* Experience leading user training sessions, managing data migrations during system go-lives, and supporting end-users throughout change management processes.
* Track record of identifying opportunities for continuous improvement within technical infrastructures while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
