What you'll do:

  • Develop, establish, and implement detailed information security policies and standards that align with organisational goals while promoting best practices throughout the company.
  • Organise and lead data security maintenance plan meetings to ensure all stakeholders are informed about current protocols, upcoming changes, and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct comprehensive internal and external audits related to company information systems, ensuring full compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

What you bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in developing comprehensive information security policies that address both technical requirements and organisational objectives.
  • Proven track record of conducting successful internal and external audits related to information systems or regulatory compliance within complex environments.
  • Strong understanding of IT system maintenance procedures including vulnerability assessment, patch management, and incident response protocols.
  • Familiarity with evaluating new technologies for potential adoption while considering their impact on existing infrastructure security.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams as well as clear communication with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to assist in managing the operations of an information security function by providing practical advice on risk mitigation strategies.
  • Experience performing detailed security reviews across applications, networks, or infrastructure components using industry-standard tools or methodologies.
  • Capacity for coordinating multi-departmental projects involving both technical implementation tasks and broader organisational change management initiatives.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development through participation in training sessions or pursuit of relevant certifications such as CISSP or CISM (preferred but not mandatory).
