Sr. Security Engineer

Our client is on the hunt for a Senior Security Engineer to join their expanding security team. This role is an exciting opportunity to drive offensive security posture and contribute significantly to global product safety. The successful candidate will be responsible for penetration testing efforts, supporting compliance requirements, and assisting in foundational defensive security operations.

What you'll do:

  • Design and execute penetration tests across various platforms: Web, Mobile, Android, Cloud, and Cross-platform applications.
  • Collaborate with Dev/QA/Product teams to improve secure development practices.
  • Conduct internal risk assessments, track mitigations, and support internal audits for compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC2).
  • Assist in handling and triaging security vulnerabilities.
  • Perform basic cyber incident response tasks and generate actionable insights.
  • Contribute to security awareness and documentation across teams.
  • Support implementation of DevSecOps pipelines, secure code scanning, and automation if capable.

What you bring:

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented with a hacker mindset.
  • Ability to execute tasks independently with a clear focus on deliverables.
  • Comfortable presenting findings and remediation recommendations.
  • Prior experience in Penetration Testing or Security QA.
  • (Preferred) Experience in compliance work (e.g., ISO, NIST, SOC2).
  • (Preferred) Contribution to CVEs, security blogs, or open-source projects.
  • (Preferred) Experience in incident response
  • (Preferred) Holding any of the security certificates, including but not limited to: OSCP, OSWA, OSCE3, CISM, CISSP, CSSLP, AWS Certified Security - Specialty.
