Penetration Testing Researcher

Based in Taiwan, their mission is to make advanced technology accessible to everyone, enhancing global connectivity and smart living solutions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct threat modeling or analysis for system security, provide security design recommendations, and improve security design standards.
  2. Perform vulnerability analysis, secure code reviews, and conduct security/fuzz testing on products.
  3. Develop penetration testing methods, scripts, or tools for vulnerability discovery.
  4. Research cutting-edge attack/hacking techniques and trends to enhance our penetration testing arsenal and methods.
  5. Depending on the tasks assigned, work may involve a variety of responsibilities.
  6. Focus on embedded systems, chip security development, and experience with low-level IoT attacks.

Qualifications:

  • Background in cybersecurity laboratory research.
  • Strong experience in embedded systems and chip security.
  • Expertise in identifying and mitigating IoT vulnerabilities.
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing security testing tools and methodologies.
  • Ability to stay updated with the latest security threats and penetration testing techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
