DevOps (Hybrid)

Our client is on the hunt for a talented DevOps Engineer to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to build and maintain cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and operational tools. You'll be working closely with development teams to streamline delivery processes and improve system reliability.

What you'll do:

As a DevOps Engineer, your primary role will be to help build and maintain our client's cloud infrastructure. You'll be instrumental in streamlining delivery processes and improving system reliability. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP/Azure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation), developing automation scripts using Python or Bash, setting up monitoring systems, collaborating with development teams to enhance deployment processes and application performance. You'll also play a key role in implementing security best practices.

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
• Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP/Azure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Implement and maintain container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker
• Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or similar languages
• Set up and maintain monitoring and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and application performance
• Implement security best practices and maintain compliance requirements
• Participate in on-call rotation for production support
• Troubleshoot issues across the development and production environment

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the DevOps Engineer position brings a wealth of experience in DevOps or a similar role. You have strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems administration and are proficient in version control systems such as Git. Your experience extends to configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef or Puppet. You possess strong scripting abilities in Python or Bash and have hands-on experience with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Your understanding of networking concepts and security protocols will be crucial in this role.

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps or similar role
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems administration
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Proficiency in version control systems (Git)
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet)
• Strong scripting abilities (Python, Bash, Shell)
