IT Manager (Oracle)

What you'll do:
- Develop and execute robust IT policies that align with organisational goals while continuously enhancing digital capabilities.
- Guide and nurture the IT team through effective training programmes, mentoring, and supervision of daily operational procedures to foster a supportive work environment.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments to evaluate requirements, analyse needs, execute digital initiatives, and integrate resources for successful project outcomes.
- Plan, optimise, and oversee group ERP (Oracle) operations while managing the rollout of ERP solutions for subsidiary companies.
- Lead the implementation, integration, and ongoing management of various application systems such as MES, BPM, EPI, ITS, ensuring they meet business objectives.
- Oversee all aspects of IT infrastructure management including information security protocols, network administration tasks, firewall maintenance, data centre operations, server upkeep, backup systems reliability, end-user device support, and help desk services.
- Evaluate investment opportunities in IT hardware and software to ensure cost-effective procurement that supports long-term technological advancement.
- Manage tasks assigned by senior management with careful project planning and execution to deliver results on time and within scope.
- Support both internal and external audit activities by providing necessary documentation and facilitating compliance reviews.
What you bring:
- At least five years’ experience leading an MIS or IT team in a managerial capacity within a medium or large-scale organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and coordinate effectively with diverse teams under pressure while maintaining a pleasant demeanour.
- Proficiency in Oracle EBS Distribution, Manufacturing, and Financial modules as well as hands-on experience integrating these systems with related applications.
- Proven track record of streamlining business processes through digital optimisation initiatives that enhance efficiency across departments.
- Willingness to engage in cross-cultural communication and collaboration to support global business objectives.
- Comprehensive understanding of information security best practices including network administration, firewall configuration, data centre management, server maintenance, backup systems operation, end-user device support, and help desk management.
- Experience planning investments in IT hardware/software with an eye towards cost-effectiveness and future scalability.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while responding flexibly to changing priorities set by senior management.
- Familiarity with supporting internal/external audits by preparing documentation and facilitating compliance checks.
