What you'll do:
- Oversee the delivery of end user computing services such as desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and collaboration tools throughout the APAC region.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure contractual obligations are met and service levels remain consistently high.
- Act as the primary point of contact for regional business units regarding all aspects of end user computing services, fostering strong connections with stakeholders.
- Forecast hardware and software requirements, manage orders efficiently, and maintain up-to-date device and software catalogues to support business operations.
- Monitor service level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs), and generate detailed service reports to drive accountability and transparency.
- Lead incident, problem, and change management processes for end user computing environments, ensuring timely resolution and minimising disruption.
- Drive root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement corrective actions to enhance reliability and prevent future incidents.
- Standardise processes across sites by developing robust knowledge management practices that promote consistency and efficiency.
- Support regional IT projects such as hardware refreshes, software rollouts, infrastructure upgrades, and automation initiatives to optimise user experience.
- Ensure strict adherence to IT policies, security standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices across all supported locations.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or a related field provides you with a solid academic foundation for this role.
- At least three years’ experience in a regional or global IT service coordination position equips you with practical insights into multi-site operations.
- Comprehensive understanding of end user computing technologies including Windows operating systems, macOS platforms, mobile device management (MDM), Intune, SCCM, O365 suite ensures you can address diverse technical needs.
- Familiarity with infrastructure concepts such as cloud computing environments, server administration, and network fundamentals enables effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Proven track record managing IT services within varied settings such as corporate offices, warehouses, or manufacturing plants demonstrates your adaptability.
- Excellent communication skills allow you to engage empathetically with stakeholders from different backgrounds while conveying technical information clearly.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities help you guide teams through incident response processes while nurturing a supportive work atmosphere.
- Experience overseeing third-party vendors ensures contractual commitments are fulfilled while maintaining harmonious partnerships.
- Strong organisational skills enable you to handle forecasting tasks for hardware/software procurement efficiently without compromising accuracy.
- Willingness to travel within the APAC region as required shows your flexibility in supporting remote sites when necessary.
