As a Site Reliability Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the production environment, ensuring its optimal performance. You will play a crucial role in driving site reliability automation initiatives aimed at minimizing system downtime and reducing costs. Your expertise will be vital in managing risks and resolving issues that impact the release scope, schedule, and quality.

The ideal candidate for this Site Reliability Engineer position brings a wealth of experience in SRE / DevOps roles. You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or a related field. Your familiarity with cloud services like GCP, AWS, Azure sets you apart. You are knowledgeable about APM, Serverless technologies, Scripting languages, and Vault Services such as Datadog, Cloud Formation, Ansible, Hashicorp Consul. Your ability to work independently is evident in your track record of identifying problem areas requiring improvement and implementing effective solutions. Above all, your excellent communication and coordination skills enable you to work effectively with diverse teams.

  • Monitor the production environment to ensure system health and availability
  • Drive site reliability automation to minimize system downtime and reduce costs
  • Manage risks and resolve issues that affect the release scope, schedule, and quality
  • Suggest architecture improvements and push for changes that improve reliability
  • Practice site reliability best practices and assist in creating site reliability reports/documentations
  • Perform any other duties as assigned
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or relevant field
  • At least 4+ years of experience in a SRE / DevOps role
  • Familiarity with cloud services such as GCP, AWS, Azure
  • Knowledge of APM, Serverless, Scripting, Vault Service(Datadog, Cloud Formation, Ansible, Hashicorp Consul and vault service)
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision to identify problem areas requiring improvement and seeing a plan through to implementation
  • Good communication and coordination skills
