Our client is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join their team in Taipei. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic and knowledgeable team, managing Oracle databases and ensuring their performance, availability, and security. Your proficiency in Linux system operations and project management will be key to your success in this role.

What you'll do:

• Maintain Oracle databases ensuring their performance, availability, and security
• Utilise your proficiency in Linux system operations and management
• Handle project-related communications effectively
• Write automation scripts using SQL commands
• Ensure database backup procedures are effective and regularly tested
• Monitor system performance and identify any potential issues

What you bring:

• At least 5 years of experience in Oracle database management
• Proficiency in Linux system operations and management
• Over 2 years of experience in project management
• Basic English communication skills
• Possession of OCA, OCP certifications or experience in maintaining other database platforms is a plus
