Container Platform Engineer

Our client is seeking a Container Platform Engineer with a passion for technology and a drive to be at the forefront of innovative solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in Taipei, where you will be responsible for architecture design and planning, platform management, and automation planning. You will also have the chance to collaborate with business units on application migration or implementation.

What you'll do:

• Designing and planning architecture, assisting with the migration or implementation of applications with business units.
• Keeping up with technology trends and proposing innovative solutions accordingly.
• Planning platform management such as resource management, service deployment, system upgrades, and information security.
• Performing platform operation tasks like operational data analysis, troubleshooting, and collaborating with vendors to solve product technical issues.
• Planning platform automation such as automating processes, introducing and integrating tools.

What you bring:

• 3-5 years of experience in information application system construction, system analysis, and system integration planning.
• Experience with Linux system operations and related Shell script development.
• Experience in container platform maintenance and management.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Containers, and monitoring tools such as GPA, ELK/EFK is preferred.
• Experience in DevOps and CI/CD tools (such as Jenkins, Ansible) is a plus.
• A passion for self-learning, exploration, and sharing.
• Experience in on-premises cloud integration is a plus.
• Experience in the financial industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of microservices, containerization, and API software design concepts is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as RHCE, CKA, CKAD, CKS, Azure/AWS/GCP, VMware VCP are a plus.
