What you'll do:

As a Network Engineer based in Zhonghe, you will be entrusted with end-to-end responsibility for designing, configuring, installing, and maintaining sophisticated network infrastructure. Your day-to-day activities will involve hands-on work with industry-leading hardware platforms such as Cisco, Juniper, HP switches, as well as implementing robust security measures through Fortinet Firewalls. You will also manage wireless LAN deployments using modern standards like 801.x/802.11ac. A significant aspect of your role will include integrating cloud networking solutions—particularly Azure VWAN—and ensuring seamless connectivity between on-premises networks and public clouds like GCP or AWS. You will monitor performance metrics vigilantly to ensure high availability while proactively addressing any issues that arise. Documentation is key; you will keep detailed records of configurations and processes for both compliance purposes (including ISO 27001 audits) and effective collaboration with international colleagues. By participating in global rollouts and infrastructure migration initiatives, you will help drive consistency in network operations worldwide.

  • Design, configure, and install a variety of network devices and services with a particular focus on global routing protocols such as Static and BGP, as well as switching platforms including Cisco, Juniper, and HP.
  • Implement and manage comprehensive security solutions using Fortinet Firewalls and associated security services to ensure the protection of the network perimeter.
  • Manage and configure advanced network access control systems by leveraging technologies like Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) to maintain secure user authentication.
  • Oversee Wireless LAN Solutions deployment and management, including configuration of Cisco wireless networks and standards such as 801.x and 802.11ac.
  • Perform regular network maintenance tasks and system upgrades by applying service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations to maintain optimal performance.
  • Monitor overall network performance continuously to guarantee system availability and reliability for all users across the organisation.
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues efficiently by isolating root causes and implementing sustainable long-term solutions that prevent recurrence.
  • Design and maintain seamless connectivity to cloud environments by setting up and managing Azure Virtual WAN as well as other cloud networking services on Azure, GCP, and AWS.
  • Develop thorough documentation related to network configuration processes and service records to ensure transparency and ease of knowledge transfer within the team.
  • Collaborate with global teams to standardise network design principles and operational practices across all regions while participating in ISO 27001 internal and external audits.
