What you'll do:
- Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of OA systems including M365, Google Workspace, Mail servers, Active Directory, Single Sign-On solutions, ensuring high availability and robust performance.
- Troubleshoot complex issues such as email service failures, account synchronisation errors, permission problems, and service interruptions at both Level 2 and Level 3 support tiers.
- Establish comprehensive backup strategies, disaster recovery plans, and monitoring mechanisms using tools like Zabbix or Prometheus to safeguard business continuity.
- Standardise desktop environments through image creation and automated deployment processes while resolving end-user challenges related to Outlook, Teams, VPNs, and file synchronisation.
- Implement rigorous account and access management protocols by maintaining integrations with AD/Azure AD/IAM/SSO platforms and conducting regular security compliance checks based on Least Privilege principles.
- Deploy and maintain Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) solutions such as Intune or Jamf to enhance device security posture.
- Respond promptly to helpdesk escalations and major incidents by identifying root causes across network, operating system, and application layers for swift resolution.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets by participating directly in device deployment, replacement cycles, and inventory audits to ensure accountability.
- Drive practical implementation of AI tools for document processing, customer support assistance, automated reporting tasks, as well as integrating APIs or automation scripts into daily workflows.
- Support warehouse operations by integrating IoT devices such as AGVs, sensors, scanners with core systems (WMS/ERP), optimising Wi-Fi infrastructure on-site, mitigating interference issues, and enhancing overall connectivity stability.
What you bring:
- 8–12 years of proven experience in IT roles with at least 3–5 years managing small to mid-sized teams in a collaborative environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in three or more areas: M365/Google Workspace/Mail server operations; Active Directory/Azure AD/SSO/IAM; Windows/Linux administration; Networking (TCP/IP/Firewall/VPN); MDM/EDR/Endpoint security.
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills with clear examples of resolving complex technical incidents efficiently across multiple technology layers.
- Hands-on scripting abilities using PowerShell/Python/Bash for automating routine IT tasks or integrating new tools into existing workflows.
- Experience introducing automation or AI-driven solutions for process optimisation within enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with warehouse/manufacturing settings or IoT device integration projects is highly desirable for supporting on-site operations.
- Knowledge of monitoring platforms such as Zabbix/Grafana/ELK for proactive system health checks and incident prevention.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., ITIL/MCP/RHCE/CISSP) are considered advantageous but not mandatory if balanced by practical experience.
