Talent Acquisition Group Manager

Location: Taipei
Report to: HR Director

About the Role

As the TA Group Manager, you will lead the talent acquisition agenda across both office and frontline positions for our retail business in Taiwan. This is a highly visible leadership role, responsible for shaping recruitment strategies, building strong talent pipelines, and positioning the company as an employer of choice.


Key Responsibilities

Talent Strategy & Execution

  • Design, implement, and continuously refine the overall recruiting strategy to meet evolving business needs in both office and frontline functions.

  • Partner closely with HRD and business leaders to ensure alignment of talent strategy with organizational goals.

  • Drive workforce planning initiatives, ensuring critical roles are filled with top talent in a timely manner.

Process & Tools

  • Develop and maintain updated job descriptions and specifications across all functions.

  • Conduct job and task analysis to define requirements and performance objectives.

  • Oversee preparation of recruitment materials and optimize job postings across platforms (job boards, social media, universities, etc.).

  • Monitor, adopt, and apply best practices and innovative solutions in recruiting.

Sourcing & Selection

  • Lead sourcing efforts using databases, digital platforms, and campus channels to build strong talent pools.

  • Manage the full selection process including candidate assessment (knowledge, skills, soft skills, aptitude, and cultural fit).

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for senior candidates, ensuring a professional and engaging candidate experience.

Collaboration & Integration

  • Partner with HRBPs and line managers to ensure smooth onboarding and integration of new hires.

  • Provide data-driven recruiting reports and insights to HRD and leadership team.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, external partners, and universities to strengthen the employer brand.

Employer Branding

  • Actively promote the company’s reputation as a “Best Place to Work” through talent marketing and campus engagement.

  • Champion diversity, inclusion, and high-performance culture throughout the recruitment process.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in recruitment, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

  • Solid experience hiring across both frontline and office roles, ideally within retail or fast-paced consumer industries.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.

  • Fluent in Mandarin and English.
