HR Site Lead

Location: Hsinchu, Taiwan
Report to: Plant Head
Team Scope: HR, General Affairs (GA), Occupational Health Nurse, and EHS

About the Company

Our client is a Taiwan-based networking technology company and a global leader in wireless broadband equipment. Headquartered in Taiwan, the company operates across the Americas, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region, delivering innovative solutions and driving global connectivity.

Role Overview

As the HR Site Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the HR and site administration functions at the Hsinchu plant. This role partners closely with the Plant Head and management teams to drive organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and compliance. You will lead a small team covering HR, GA, occupational health, and EHS, ensuring smooth operations and alignment with corporate strategies. In the future, this role may expand to oversee overseas sites in India, the Philippines, Mexico.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic HR partner to the Plant Head and site leadership team.

  • Lead and manage all aspects of HR, GA, occupational health, and EHS at the site.

  • Drive organizational development, talent management, and workforce planning initiatives.

  • Provide guidance on employee relations, labor law compliance, and workplace policies.

  • Oversee compensation, benefits, and performance management processes for the site.

  • Manage site-level General Affairs, ensuring efficient facility and administrative support.

  • Ensure EHS compliance and occupational health programs meet legal and corporate standards.

  • Partner with global and regional HR teams to align with corporate HR strategies.

  • Act as a trusted advisor and coach to management teams, bringing independent thinking and mature judgment.

  • Prepare to take on broader responsibilities across overseas sites (India, Philippines, Mexico, etc.) as the company expands.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Minimum 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

  • Solid understanding of Taiwan labor laws and HR practices; experience in manufacturing environment preferred.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Independent, mature, and proactive, with the ability to influence senior management teams.

  • Experience working in a global organization or managing cross-border HR operations a plus.

  • Proficiency in Mandarin and English (written and spoken).
