A leading global organisation is seeking an HR Professional, ER & Compliance to join the team in Taipei, Taiwan. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in employee relations and HR compliance while ensuring adherence to Taiwan labour laws. Key responsibilities

Seeking an experienced HR Professional, ER & Compliance professional to support the business by ensuring compliance with Taiwan labour laws, strengthening employee relations, and advising leaders in a multinational environment.

  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters to managers and staff across all levels
  • Ensure compliance with Taiwan labour laws by monitoring regulatory updates and implementing necessary policy changes
  • Investigate employee concerns with empathy and sensitivity, ensuring fair resolutions that align with company policies
  • Develop and update HR policies to reflect best practices in compliance and employee relations
  • Deliver training sessions on workplace conduct, legal requirements, and conflict resolution

Candidate profile

To succeed in this role, you will bring proven experience in managing complex employee relations issues while maintaining strict confidentiality. Your expertise in Taiwan labour law and ability to communicate effectively within a multinational environment will be key to your success.

  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory and at least 3–5 years of experience in employee relations or HR compliance roles within reputable organisations
  • Strong understanding of Taiwan labour laws and their practical application in corporate settings
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills combined with analytical thinking for resolving workplace challenges
  • High integrity and confidentiality, with experience in multinational or diverse workplaces; HR certification (e.g. SHRM-CP/SCP) is an advantage
  • Advanced proficiency in English (written and verbal) for clear communication across diverse teams
