Office Manager
As the Office Manager, you will play a central part in both administrative and human resources functions, making a real difference to the daily experience of every employee. What you'll do:
- Manage procurement of office supplies and equipment so that all teams have what they need to perform their roles efficiently.
- Serve as the main point of contact for vendors and external service providers, maintaining positive relationships and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Organise comprehensive onboarding and orientation programmes for new hires to help them feel welcomed and informed from day one.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Plan and coordinate holiday gifts, office celebrations, and employee events that foster a sense of community and belonging within the workplace
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives by supporting internal communications and helping to create a positive work environment.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth office operations and address any issues or needs as they arise.
- Contribute ideas for improving administrative processes and enhancing overall efficiency within the office.
What you'll bring:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Mandarin Chinese and English (if applicable), allowing you to interact effectively within an international environment.
- Exceptional organisational skills with keen attention to detail that ensures nothing falls through the cracks when handling multiple responsibilities across departments.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities that enable you to build rapport with colleagues at all levels as well as external partners such as vendors or service providers.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving combined with flexibility when responding to changing priorities or urgent requests from different teams.
- Experience working in startup environments is highly desirable as it demonstrates adaptability in fast-evolving workplaces where processes may still be developing.
- Familiarity with Taiwan labour laws and HR practices is considered an advantage for ensuring compliance in all personnel matters.
