This role offers you the opportunity to shape and manage compensation and benefits programmes that directly support the company’s strategic objectives, ensuring both internal fairness and external competitiveness. The position provides you to influence policy, drive operational excellence, and deliver expert guidance on all matters related to employee rewards.

What you'll do:

By staying abreast of legislative changes affecting compensation or benefits policies, you will help maintain best-in-class governance standards.

  • Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive compensation structures that align with the company’s attraction and retention strategies across diverse markets.
  • Conduct regular market analyses and benchmarking exercises to ensure pay practices remain competitive externally while upholding principles of internal equity.
  • Support the annual compensation cycle by managing salary reviews, merit increases, and incentive programmes with an emphasis on fairness and compliance.
  • Prepare detailed analytical reports and provide recommendations to management regarding pay structures, incentive plans, and overall reward strategy.
  • Oversee the design and administration of employee benefits programmes including health insurance, retirement plans, statutory benefits, and other company-sponsored offerings.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of current benefits packages by analysing market trends and employee feedback; recommend enhancements to better meet business objectives and workforce needs.
  • Supervise payroll operations to ensure accurate and timely processing in coordination with internal teams and external vendors while maintaining strict confidentiality.
  • Monitor legislative changes related to compensation, taxation, and benefits; update policies promptly to ensure ongoing compliance with local regulations.
  • Develop clear documentation, policies, and guidelines governing compensation and benefits practices to promote transparency throughout the organisation.
  • Partner closely with HR Business Partners, Finance, Legal, and other stakeholders to provide expert consultation on talent acquisition, retention strategies, workforce planning, budget alignment, and regulatory compliance.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Finance or a related discipline is required for this position.
  • Experience developing documentation or policies related to compensation/benefits showcases your attention to detail and commitment to transparency.
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience within compensation management, benefits administration or broader HR operations is essential for success.
  • Comprehensive understanding of local labour laws as well as statutory benefit requirements ensures effective programme management.
  • Advanced analytical skills combined with proficiency in Excel/VBA tools enable you to interpret data accurately for decision-making purposes.
  • A proven track record of maintaining confidentiality when handling sensitive payroll or employee data demonstrates your dependability.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting overseas operations or working within matrix organisations will be highly regarded as it reflects adaptability in global environments.
