Senior C&B Assistant Manager

Our client is seeking a Senior Compensation & Benefits Assistant Manager to join their team in Taipei. This role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive compensation and benefits programs that align with the company’s strategic goals and objectives. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of compensation structures, benefits administration, budget planning, and compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the HRIS system ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee data
  • Partner with total reward manager to manage the annual salary review and promotion cycle
  • Coordinate the annual benefits enrollment process, including developing communication materials
  • Contribute to bench-marking activities by supporting pay and benefits survey input
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams for data analysis, budgeting, and forecasting requirements
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize budget utilization
  • Collaborate with external tax advisors to support expatriate employees on tax-related matters
  • Evaluate and recommend changes to benefits programs to ensure they meet employee needs and are cost-effective

Key Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of experience in compensation or benefit roles
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and labour laws
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
  • Effective management of multiple priorities
