Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Manager for their South Area operations. This role is pivotal in driving the penetration of major Peritoneal Dialysis product lines across the territory through effective management of the PD-S sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the achievement of sales targets for the business unit, developing and implementing field sales strategies, and managing alliances across functional teams.

What you'll do:

As a Sales Manager for our client's South Area operations, your role will be instrumental in driving growth within their major Peritoneal Dialysis product lines. You will be tasked with leading a dedicated PD-S sales team, developing innovative field sales strategies, managing key alliances across various functional teams, and ensuring overall achievement of business unit targets. Your ability to analyse market data to inform strategic decision-making will be crucial in this role. Furthermore, your commitment to strengthening customer relationships will play a vital part in maintaining a deep understanding of the business landscape.

  • Develop, implement, and manage field sales strategies in conjunction with Marketing and functional teams to achieve sales and profit targets.
  • Manage sales team; direct reviews, evaluate and monitor performance and development of the sales organization through effective use of the A.C.E. process.
  • Determine staffing level required and participate in the selection of sales personnel.
  • Participate in the development of compensation plans that will motivate the sales organization to achieve sales and profit goals.
  • Direct collection and analysis of market data. Utilize qualitative and quantitative data to develop short- and long-range sales forecast budgets and profit objectives.
  • Direct implementation of sales strategies, monitor results, modify strategies as necessary for achievement of goals.
  • Strengthen relationships and maintain a working knowledge of the business through direct interface with customers.
  • Participate in the development of pricing & tendering strategies, direct implementation of pricing policies and tendering procedures.
  • Manage alliances and share strategies across functional teams.
  • Coordinate field and internal interaction to provide input for Marketing; provide feedback on acceptance of products, product problems, potential new product application.
