What you'll do:
As a Regulatory Affairs Assistant Manager, you will play an integral part in safeguarding the organisation’s reputation by ensuring all cosmetic products comply with local and regional regulations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve keeping abreast of legislative changes, preparing detailed submissions for regulatory approval, and collaborating closely with various teams to support innovation projects. You will independently handle notifications and PIF documentation processes while providing expert advice on product claims. By maintaining up-to-date databases and fostering effective communication with authorities and partners, you will help drive operational efficiency. Additionally, your support for Hong Kong-related tasks will further enhance the company’s ability to respond proactively to changing regulatory landscapes. Success in this role requires not only technical knowledge but also excellent interpersonal skills to build trust across departments and external networks.
- Monitor, evaluate, and update cosmetic-related laws and regulations to provide timely regulatory assessments that secure smooth business operations across multiple markets.
- Prepare, review, and submit comprehensive regulatory documentation with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, compliance with strategic objectives, and punctual delivery of high-quality submissions.
- Support innovation projects by delivering thorough regulatory compliance reviews and offering clear regulatory assessments that facilitate the introduction of new products.
- Independently manage the Notification process for cosmetic products while efficiently compiling PIF documentation within targeted timelines.
- Offer professional advice on claims related to both products and advertisements, ensuring all communications remain compliant with current regulations.
- Update relevant databases promptly to maintain accurate records of regulatory activities and ensure seamless access to critical information for internal stakeholders.
- Maintain close communication with regulatory authorities as well as external third-party partners to align evolving requirements with company strategies and business needs.
- Assist with Hong Kong Regulatory Affairs tasks by organising internal documentation and reviewing claims to support cross-regional compliance efforts.

- Bachelor’s degree or above in Pharmacy, Medical Science, Chemistry, Toxicology or other related disciplines provides you with a solid foundation for understanding complex regulatory frameworks.
- Fluency in English enables you to communicate effectively with international colleagues, regulatory bodies, and external partners.
- In-depth familiarity with cosmetic regulations as well as Notification processes and PIF requirements ensures you can navigate compliance challenges confidently.
- Over five years’ experience in regulatory affairs or related fields demonstrates your proven track record of managing submissions and supporting business operations within regulated industries.
- A strong sense of ownership combined with high motivation allows you to take initiative while remaining dependable under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills enable you to share insights clearly across teams while building positive relationships with authorities and third parties.
- Attention to detail ensures all documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted within required timelines.
