What you'll do:
As a System Technical Manager Mechanical Engineering based in New Taipei City, you will be entrusted with guiding multidisciplinary teams through the entire lifecycle of server product development. Your day-to-day activities will involve close collaboration with experts from various fields—ranging from electrical to software engineering—ensuring seamless integration of ideas and skills. You will act as a bridge between internal teams and international clients by facilitating transparent communication about project objectives, technical challenges, and innovative solutions. By managing resources wisely and keeping projects on track for timely delivery without compromising quality or cost-effectiveness, you will help shape the future direction of advanced server technologies. Your commitment to continuous improvement will drive process enhancements that benefit both your colleagues and end users alike.
- Lead and nurture cross-functional research and development teams including electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, thermal engineering, software engineering, quality engineering, and production engineering to ensure successful product outcomes.
- Provide thoughtful technical guidance and mentorship to team members, cultivating an atmosphere of mutual respect, learning, and shared achievement.
- Communicate fluently in English with senior technical personnel from client organisations based primarily in the Americas and Europe, ensuring clear understanding of project goals and technical requirements.
- Engage proactively in discussions regarding product roadmaps, emerging technical trends, and overall project progress with clients while remaining responsive to detailed reviews as needed.
- Coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders such as account managers, project managers, research and development teams, and plant engineering teams to manage resources efficiently.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, milestones, and deliverables to guarantee timely completion of high-quality products that meet or exceed expectations.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in the server industry—including artificial intelligence—and integrate relevant developments into project strategies.
- Champion innovation within the team by encouraging exploration of new technologies and methodologies that can enhance product performance or streamline processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements across all stages of product development and implement best practices to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
