What you'll do:

As a Thermal Engineer based in Taoyuan, Taiwan, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of advanced cooling solutions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve designing innovative water-cooling systems—ranging from Coolant Distribution Units to radiators—and pioneering two-phase flow technologies like vapor chambers and heat pipes. You will be deeply involved in every stage of product development: from conceptualisation through detailed analysis and prototyping to final testing. Your expertise will also be crucial in refining metal welding techniques essential for robust product construction. By creating comprehensive technical drawings and establishing clear specifications alongside accurate BOMs, you will ensure seamless communication across departments. Additionally, you will guide projects through tooling design and initial production trials while working closely with quality assurance teams to uphold the highest standards. Success in this role means not only delivering technically excellent products but also fostering a spirit of cooperation within a supportive team environment.

• Design and develop water-cooling thermal products such as CDU (Coolant Distribution Units), pumps, cold plates, and radiators by applying advanced engineering principles and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
• Lead the application and optimisation of two-phase flow cooling technologies including vapor chambers, heat pipes, loop heat pipes, ensuring efficient thermal performance across diverse product lines.
• Drive the advancement of metal welding techniques for thermal product manufacturing by researching new methods and implementing best practices in production processes.
• Execute comprehensive product design activities encompassing detailed analysis, prototyping, sample preparation, rigorous testing, and iterative refinement to achieve optimal results.
• Create precise technical drawings for all thermal components using industry-standard CAD tools while maintaining meticulous documentation throughout the development lifecycle.
• Establish accurate pricing structures and detailed product specifications by conducting thorough market research and cost analysis in conjunction with procurement teams.
• Develop complete Bills of Materials (BOM) for each project phase, ensuring all parts are accounted for and aligned with production requirements.
• Oversee tooling design and coordinate mould opening activities to facilitate smooth transition from prototype to mass production.
• Support trial production runs by monitoring process parameters, identifying areas for improvement, and providing hands-on guidance during initial manufacturing stages.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure all products meet stringent reliability standards before full-scale launch.
