What you'll do:
As a Senior Signal Integration Engineer based in Hsinchu, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the electronic systems that power next-generation products. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing reliable PCB designs using industry-standard tools while performing sophisticated signal integrity analyses to overcome high-speed design obstacles. You will construct detailed S-parameter models for use in broader system simulations, ensuring optimal interconnect performance. By optimising Power Delivery Networks through rigorous simulation techniques, you will contribute directly to cost-effective yet robust product architectures. Your ability to analyse electromagnetic interference risks will help safeguard devices against external threats, while your collaborative approach will ensure seamless communication with multidisciplinary teams. Success in this position means proactively identifying potential issues early in the design process, providing actionable insights that drive continuous improvement across all stages of product development.
- Utilise schematic and layout tools such as Allegro and OrCad to develop robust PCB designs that meet stringent performance requirements.
- Conduct detailed board-level signal integrity analysis using advanced simulation platforms like Sigrity or Ansys to address complex high-speed design challenges.
- Build accurate power-aware S-parameter models for interconnects, enabling precise system-level simulations across multiple product lines.
- Optimise Power Delivery Networks through AC frequency analysis as well as pre-layout and post-layout simulations, ensuring compliance with cost-effective PDN requirements.
- Analyse near-field electromagnetic densities and radiation effects to identify potential EMI issues, recommending effective shielding strategies such as Faraday cage placement.
- Evaluate system susceptibility by assessing the impact of external radiation sources on device performance, supporting overall product reliability.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional development teams to highlight design weaknesses and propose practical solutions that enhance product quality.
- Correlate simulation data with physical hardware observations in real-time, troubleshooting critical signal issues efficiently during the development cycle.
- Document findings comprehensively and communicate recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders within the organisation.

- Demonstrated proficiency with Sigrity X platform (including PowerSI and SystemSI) or equivalent simulation tools for advanced signal integrity analysis.
- Comprehensive understanding of S-parameters, crosstalk phenomena, jitter mitigation techniques, and decoupling capacitor optimisation strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of system architecture involving multi-layer PCBs, complex via structures, and digital high-speed interfaces such as HDMI, USB, MIPI, PCIe, and Ethernet.
- Proven ability to analyse and debug critical signal issues in real-time environments while correlating simulation results with actual hardware behaviour.
- Experience coordinating with development teams to identify design vulnerabilities and deliver effective engineering solutions that enhance overall system performance.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution.
- At least five years’ experience in electronics circuit or high-speed hardware design for medium-to-high density products within a commercial setting.
- Minimum five years’ hands-on experience utilising simulation tools for electronic design validation across multiple project cycles.
