[NAS/Linux Kernal] Principal Engineer./ Engineering Director

We are looking for a Principal Engineer with extensive experience in Linux core development. You will be responsible for designing and evaluating the overall architecture of the Linux system, leading the Linux core port, driver debugging, system tailoring and mass production process. In addition, you will need to optimize performance and troubleshoot problems, including analyzing core performance bottlenecks, tuning and troubleshooting. What will you do:

As a Principal Engineer, you will play a key role in our team. You will be responsible for designing and evaluating the overall Linux system architecture, including middleware, drivers, LIBs, and user-space applications. You will lead the Linux core porting, driver debugging, system tailoring, and mass production process, as well as adapting the system to different hardware platforms. In addition, you will need to optimize performance and troubleshoot problems, including analyzing core performance bottlenecks, tuning and troubleshooting. We look forward to you solving core issues such as deadlock/panic/OOM to ensure system stability.

• Design and evaluate the overall architecture of the Linux system (Middleware/Driver/LIBs/user-space applications),
• lead the Linux core porting, driver debugging, system tailoring and mass production process,
• adapt the system to different hardware platforms (ARM SOC is preferred), optimize the boot process (uboot/grub),
• analyze the core performance bottlenecks (scheduling/memory/IO/ file system), adjust and troubleshoot
• to
• solve core problems such as deadlock/panic/OOM, ensure system stability,
• and use the tool chain (perf/ftrace/eBPF/kdb, etc.) for in-depth debugging

What do you bring:

As a Principal Engineer, you need to have a bachelor's degree or above and at least 10 years of experience in Linux core development. You need to be proficient in Linux core subsystems (travel scheduling/memory management/IO/virtualization) and core APIs, and be proficient in C/C++, and have the ability to independently develop low-level modules. In addition, you also need to have at least one Linux distribution (Debian/Ubuntu/OpenWRT) porting and pruning experience, be familiar with buildroot, and be proficient in uboot/core/driver/file system problem locating.
