What you'll do:

• Motivate, mentor, and enable your team members to succeed in delivering high-quality products that meet customer expectations.

• Communicate openly with OEMs, ODMs, SiPs, and IHVs to understand technical requirements and resolve complex issues collaboratively.
• Prioritise customer requests from around the globe by balancing business needs with technical feasibility in a considerate manner.
• Collaborate regularly with product engineering teams, including Desktop, Foundations, Kernel, and Security to share knowledge and align on best practices.
• Guide methodologies, strategies, standards, tools, and best practices that foster continuous improvement within your team.
• Be prepared to travel internationally once restrictions lift to strengthen relationships with global partners.

What you bring:

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in the engineering field with over 10 years of embedded development experience.
• A proven track record in technical roles involving Linux systems showcases your deep understanding of open-source platforms.
• Commitment to robust development and testing methodologies ensures you consistently deliver maintainable code of high quality.
• Experience managing teams highlights your ability to support others’ growth while achieving shared objectives together.
• Your collaborative approach enables you to work effectively within diverse teams spread across different locations.
