SI Technical Support Engineer (Audio/Video/ProAV)

What you'll do:
- Design, configure, and implement advanced LED video wall solutions that integrate seamlessly with ProAV systems including controllers, scalers, and signal distribution equipment to meet client requirements.
- Assist or lead the on-site setup of LED displays by managing mounting, cabling, alignment, calibration processes and integrating these with AV-over-IP technologies as well as control systems such as Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, and audio solutions.
- Oversee high-resolution signal processing using SDVoE and AVoIP protocols while managing AV networking (TCP/IP, VLAN, Dante) to ensure optimal image quality, latency control, and overall system reliability.
- Collaborate closely with architects, system integrators, project managers, and other stakeholders to deliver comprehensive LED plus ProAV solutions tailored to specific client needs.
- Provide post-installation maintenance and technical support by monitoring systems remotely or on-site, troubleshooting issues promptly, and ensuring compliance with AVIXA/InfoComm standards as well as manufacturer guidelines.
- Document all stages of system integration projects thoroughly including configuration details, network settings, calibration data, and support logs for future reference.
- Participate actively in cross-team meetings to share insights on best practices for installation techniques and emerging technologies relevant to ProAV environments.
- Support the development of user guides or training materials for clients to facilitate smooth handover and ongoing operation of installed systems.
- Contribute feedback from field experience to improve internal processes related to project delivery and customer satisfaction.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Audio-Visual Technology or a related discipline; equivalent professional experience may also be considered if it demonstrates comparable expertise.
- At least five years of hands-on experience within the ProAV or Audio/Video industry covering areas such as system design, integration work, installation procedures or technical support roles.
- Demonstrated proficiency in AV signal transmission methods along with deep familiarity with display technologies (including LED walls), audio systems integration and control platforms like Crestron/AMX/Extron/Q-SYS.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP protocols, VLAN configuration strategies as well as Power over Ethernet (PoE) deployment within AV-over-IP environments.
- Experience managing high-resolution signal processing using SDVoE or AVoIP standards coupled with practical knowledge of Dante-enabled audio networks.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently while maintaining clear communication with both clients and internal teams throughout all project phases.
- Familiarity with AVIXA/InfoComm standards plus manufacturer guidelines relevant to professional audiovisual installations is highly desirable.
- Strong documentation skills enabling accurate record-keeping for configurations performed during integration projects or subsequent maintenance activities.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities allowing effective collaboration across departments such as architecture design groups or external system integrators.
