Senior Operations Program Lead (Consumer Hardware)

A global technology innovator is seeking a Senior Operations Program Lead to support strategic execution across its hardware operations and supply chain programs. This role plays a vital function in coordinating manufacturing, supply planning, and new product readiness across a fast-paced consumer hardware portfolio. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in operations, manufacturing, and NPI.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing operations programs to ensure timely and complete product delivery across global OEM and supplier networks.

• Serve as the central liaison across internal teams (demand planning, supply, logistics, quality, product) and external vendors to drive operational readiness.

• Support product launches by managing manufacturing readiness, ramp planning, component risk-buying, and supply continuity.

• Coordinate execution of the supply plan, ensuring purchase orders, factory build guidance, and inventory flows are aligned with lead time and demand.

• Monitor clear-to-build (CTB) status across a rolling 12-month horizon; escalate shortages and work proactively to mitigate delays.

• Track and resolve variances in SKU-level manufacturing costs, ensuring cost accuracy and control.

• Regularly brief executive leadership on program status, risks, and mitigation strategies.

• Introduce best practices from the hardware industry to improve team efficiency, visibility, and supplier performance.

• Travel as needed to vendor, supplier, or manufacturing sites.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

• 7–10+ years of experience in consumer hardware operations, program management, or supply chain.

• Strong knowledge of product lifecycle management, particularly NPI and end-to-end supply execution.

• Experience managing factory clear-to-build processes, cost tracking, and high-mix product portfolios.

• Strong communicator with experience presenting to executive audiences and building alignment across global teams.

• Familiarity with contract manufacturers and vendor management across Asia.

• Experience with tools for data analysis, forecasting, and program reporting.
