What you'll do:

• Engage in regular communication with ODM, OEM, and Brand clients to collaboratively design and develop new products that meet precise technical requirements.
• Coordinate with internal engineering teams, factory personnel, and supply chain partners to guarantee seamless integration of product design from prototyping through mass production.
• Oversee the detailed mechanical design and drafting of server-related or thermal module components using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
• Ensure all product designs adhere strictly to client specifications by conducting thorough reviews at each stage of development.
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings to align project goals between engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain departments for optimal resource utilisation.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers within the team, nurturing their professional development in a supportive environment.
• Monitor project timelines closely to ensure milestones are met without compromising quality or safety standards.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation for all stages of the mechanical design process, maintaining clear records for future reference and compliance audits.
• Collaborate with external vendors as needed to source materials or resolve technical challenges during the production cycle.
• Utilise your English communication skills effectively when interacting with international stakeholders or preparing reports for global clients.

What you bring:

• Demonstrated experience managing mechanical design projects within system integrator or related manufacturing environments is essential for success in this role.
• Proven track record in communicating effectively with ODM/OEM/Brand clients throughout all phases of product development is highly valued.
• Strong proficiency in mechanical component design for servers or thermal modules using industry-standard CAD software is required.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams—including engineering, factory operations, and supply chain—to achieve project objectives efficiently is important.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Mandarin Chinese and English are necessary for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers or leading small project teams within a collaborative setting is desirable.
• Familiarity with quality assurance processes relevant to mechanical design projects ensures adherence to industry standards.
• Capacity for preparing detailed technical documentation at each stage of the design process supports transparency and compliance.
