What you'll do:

As a Mechanical Engineer based in New Taipei City, you will immerse yourself in a dynamic environment where your expertise will be instrumental in transitioning innovative technologies from research labs into full-scale production. Your day-to-day activities will involve close cooperation with various departments—ranging from manufacturing to marketing—to ensure that every piece of equipment meets rigorous standards for quality and cost-effectiveness. You will be responsible for understanding complex mechanical systems inside out, supporting both internal teams and external customers when technical challenges arise. • Facilitate the smooth technology transfer and manufacturing transition of sophisticated equipment developed by international R&D teams, ensuring all processes are aligned with organisational standards.
• Develop a deep understanding of module functions, design concepts, testing methodologies, debugging techniques, and servicing requirements to support both manufacturing and field operations.
• Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, New Product Introduction (NPI), and other functional groups to enhance product quality while optimising costs throughout the production lifecycle.
• Act as the first point of contact for troubleshooting manufacturing and field issues, providing prompt technical support to resolve challenges efficiently.
• Drive continuous machine development by identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions that enhance performance and reliability.
• Engage regularly with stakeholders in marketing, programme management, and R&D engineering to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
• Conduct thorough testing, analysis, and evaluation of equipment to diagnose issues accurately and develop effective resolutions.
• Define clear specifications, create comprehensive work instructions, and produce detailed technical documentation to support manufacturing processes.
• Support cross-functional teams by sharing insights gained from hands-on experience with equipment design and operation.
• Participate in overseas travel as required to collaborate with R&D centres or provide on-site support at customer locations.
