What you'll do:
As a Mechanical Engineer based in New Taipei City, you will immerse yourself in a dynamic environment where your expertise will be instrumental in transitioning innovative technologies from research labs into full-scale production. Your day-to-day activities will involve close cooperation with various departments—ranging from manufacturing to marketing—to ensure that every piece of equipment meets rigorous standards for quality and cost-effectiveness. You will be responsible for understanding complex mechanical systems inside out, supporting both internal teams and external customers when technical challenges arise. By continuously seeking ways to improve machine performance and reliability, you will help shape the future of high-tech manufacturing. - Facilitate the smooth technology transfer and manufacturing transition of sophisticated equipment developed by international R&D teams, ensuring all processes are aligned with organisational standards.
- Develop a deep understanding of module functions, design concepts, testing methodologies, debugging techniques, and servicing requirements to support both manufacturing and field operations.
- Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, New Product Introduction (NPI), and other functional groups to enhance product quality while optimising costs throughout the production lifecycle.
- Act as the first point of contact for troubleshooting manufacturing and field issues, providing prompt technical support to resolve challenges efficiently.
- Drive continuous machine development by identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions that enhance performance and reliability.
- Engage regularly with stakeholders in marketing, programme management, and R&D engineering to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Conduct thorough testing, analysis, and evaluation of equipment to diagnose issues accurately and develop effective resolutions.
- Define clear specifications, create comprehensive work instructions, and produce detailed technical documentation to support manufacturing processes.
- Support cross-functional teams by sharing insights gained from hands-on experience with equipment design and operation.
- Participate in overseas travel as required to collaborate with R&D centres or provide on-site support at customer locations.
