Lead Optical Engineer Salary: Competitive and based on experience Location: 新竹市 A leading global tech company is seeking a Lead Optical Engineer to drive innovation in optical system design for next-generation products. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams—including PMs, designers, and suppliers—to define product requirements, design new optical systems (using Zemax, TracePro), optimize existing solutions, and support production.

What you'll do:

• Design and simulate optical systems for video sensor applications.

• Support system architecture and ensure manufacturing readiness.

• Evaluate emerging technologies and competitor products.

• Qualify new optical components and tooling through rigorous testing.

• Work closely with global teams and suppliers to meet cost and quality goals.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Zemax, optical simulation tools, and ProE (or similar).

• Hands-on skills in optical alignment and production line setup.

• Experience in system integration and hardware architecture.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
