They are currently seeking a Principal Firmware Engineer/Firmware Manager to join their team in Tainan.

What you'll do (Responsibilities):

As a Principal Firmware Engineer/Firmware Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's power product portfolio. Your expertise in MCU/DSP firmware development and familiarity with power converter control techniques will be crucial in driving forward their innovative projects. You will also have the opportunity to introduce new products into mass production and handle any production line abnormalities. This role offers a unique blend of technical challenge and the chance to work on industry-leading technologies.

  • You will be responsible for power product firmware programming related work.
  • Your role includes MCU/DSP firmware development and handling related interfaces such as Modbus, CAN, RS485, I2C, SPI, UART etc.
  • You will be familiar with power converter control techniques like LLC, buck, boost etc.
  • You will execute, assist or cooperate with the development and introduction of new firmware and hardware technologies.
  • Your responsibilities include software and firmware integration testing and firmware program maintenance.
  • You will communicate, coordinate and integrate discussions with hardware teams.
  • You will introduce new products into the factory for mass production, and analyze and handle production line abnormalities.

What you bring (Requirements) :

  • BS/MS degree in engineering related fields
  • Over 6 years of firmware development
  • Experience in Power and EV Charger firmware development
  • Proficiency in C/C++ language
  • Digital controller programming is essential
  • Experience with MCU/DSP firmware development is required
  • Familiarity with TI TMS320 series is preferred
