What you'll do:

As a Firmware Manager (MCU), you will be leading a team of talented MCU Firmware Engineers, inspiring them to advance our vision of a music world. You will be responsible for driving the architecture and development of innovative firmware solutions, ensuring they align with our ambitious business objectives and product strategies. Your role will also involve spearheading the New Product Introduction (NPI) process, demonstrating our commitment to risk mitigation, technical excellence, and market-defining products. You will foster a culture of technical and innovative excellence, leading by example in code reviews, design discussions, and problem-solving sessions. Furthermore, you will facilitate effective collaboration across cross-functional teams to create products that revolutionize the modern musician's experience.

What you bring:

As an ideal candidate for this Firmware Manager (MCU) position, you bring along a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. You have extensive experience in firmware development with proven leadership skills. Your proficiency in C/C++ coupled with your deep understanding of hardware interfaces and MCU functionalities sets you apart from others. Your strong leadership skills enable you to communicate clearly and assertively while effectively delegating tasks. You have a knack for proactive problem identification and resolution, particularly in cross-team collaborations. Additional certifications or training in project management, leadership, or related areas would be a plus.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in firmware development.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ and deep understanding of hardware interfaces and MCU functionalities.
  • Strong leadership skills with clear communication abilities.
  • Experience in proactive problem identification and resolution.
  • Additional certifications or training in project management or leadership are desirable.
  • Experience in IoT product development and interest in AI integration are beneficial.
  • A track record of innovation in firmware development is advantageous.
